New position available in Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science of Smith College is seeking a computer scientist for a one-year appointment to teach four courses, two in Fall 2012, two in Spring 2013. The position is three-quarters of full-time, with an appropriate competitive salary depending upon qualifications, and full benefits. There is a possibility of renewal of the position beyond the initial one-year appointment.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in computer science, or be ABD in a CS graduate program. Mastery of material for teaching a wide range of courses is expected, including programming at several levels.
